t.e.l.l. vol. 10 | The Dwellings Issue

A few weeks ago we launched the 10th volume of t.e.l.l. New England. It's absolutely crazy to me that we've already published (digitally) TEN issues...time flies when you're enjoying what you're working on! Our 10th issue was titled the Dwellings Issue and offered a look into the unique spaces in and around New England. To quote our editor, Mandi...

A dwelling is a powerful place. Our homes and the spaces where we spend our precious hours each day inspire us, fill us with warmth, and provide a place of comfort. As Maya Angelou said, “I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself.” We all aim to create home in our space where we reside, whether temporary or permanent, and take great pride and detail in doing so.

The spaces we choose to surround ourselves with are a true form of personal expression. Each dwelling reflects the many painstaking and personal decisions that were made in crafting it, whether the space is a home, a workspace, or just a casual place to visit. In this issue our goal is to share a few of these special places that our fellow New Englanders hold dear. It is in these dwellings that they have built their lives, their careers, and their many passions.

This issue was a bit of a struggle for me personally...the submission/interviewing/photographing time essentially took place during the tail end of our wedding and throughout the honeymoon. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I haven't really shot a story for the pages of t.e.l.l.. That's a bit of a bummer but I look forward to having more free time to focus back on this project moving forward. Check out the full issue here or visit the t.e.l.l. website for more about this issue and past issues.

Happy reading!
