All The Fall Things

Autumn. (Probably) my favorite season. I say "probably" because to be honest, it's so hard to pick favorites here in New England. All seasons are visually stunning, all have their ups and downs, but all, at the end of the day, leave their mark and help carve forever memories into our storybook.

Towards the end of this season I made a big purchase and upgraded my camera. I've decided to stay in the Nikon family for now and was totally torn between a Nikon D750 and Nikon D810. At the end of the day the 750 won out...really, what was I going to need such large-format images for? I haven't been contracted for a billboard, yet.

New cameras always bring a sense of renewed inspiration. On top of that it seems as though you've suddenly reverted back to your younger, hobbyist photographer self, wanting to bring your camera with you everywhere you go all over again. Adding to this is the beauty of Autumn in New England. The end result are these fall snaps from miscellaneous trips out and about. Enjoy!

Brie + Jonathan Get Married | Waitsfield, VT

It's always a pleasure photographing a wedding, even more so when it's for a friend. Brie and Jonathan were married on September 26th at the 1824 House in Waitsfield, Vermont. It was an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends on the banks of the Mad River. Early fall foliage dotted the mountains and the perfect weather graced the afternoon.

I met Brie while in college and later resided with her and some fellow Phis at our house on Chestnut Hill. Not long after, Brie met Jonathan, a native Texan and without a doubt, the nicest & kindest Texan I know. Shortly after their engagement, I was honored when they asked if I could take their engagement photos, and even more so when they asked me to be their wedding photographer.

The day was stunning - besides the weather being a picture-perfect autumn day, everything fell into place gorgeously. The bride dazzled, the bridesmaids in their gowns were a perfect compliment to Brie and the setting, and the groom didn't look too shabby either! Even Calvin (their beloved child/dog) was dressed to impress.

Check out a few favorites from the sweetest day with these two lovebirds. Cheers to many years of happiness, Jonathan & Brie!

I photographed this wedding with Michelle Martin, a fellow New England photographer and one of our regular contributor's to t.e.l.l. New England. Michelle was incredible to work with during the day - I highly recommend her to you all!

The Ripe Stuff

I had the opportunity to take some product shots for The Ripe Stuff a few weeks was a fun shoot that gave me the opportunity to play around with the product above and beyond what the original client ask was. To me, juice is a very photogenic product - it's colorful and vibrant, oh, and delicious too! Here's a few from the shoot/when I got to play with food!

The Ripe Stuff is located in Boston and offers a wide range of amazing juices and cleansing packages to choose from. All juices are hydraulically pressed (this sounds intense but ensures we are getting the best and the most out of our juices) and all the fruits and vegetables are locally sourced...even better! Check out The Ripe Stuff today!
